About the Festival

Over 500 years ago Llanrwst and Gwydyr Forest were home to a legendary rebel, nobleman, and bard – Dafydd ap Siencyn. Follow in the footsteps of this colourful character and celebrate the rich History, Nature and Culture of Llanrwst in the Conwy Valley, North Wales.

Set in Gwydyr Park, next to the historic Market Town of Llanrwst, this family-friendly festival will take you on a journey back in time to explore Welsh medieval stories and legends. Join in with the exciting range of experiences and activities. There’s something for all ages and tastes, including: Live music, performers, art & crafts, stories, costumes, archery, forest skills, market stalls, and all activities are free!
